The ever-changing scenery of Los Velez offers the visitor plenty of opportunities to get involved in inspiring, active and fun activities and day trips.

Some of these activities may even suprise you in this rural inland area!   Visitors can enjoy the stunning countryside and get off the beaten track by foot, bicycle, horse, quad bike or kayak.

You can explore underground - caving or scuba diving, and overground too - climbing or flying on a tandem paragliding flight!

 

Ornithologists will be fascinated by the variety of bird life to be seen. The Sierra Maria is a breeding ground for the griffon vulture and its possible to go and watch them being fed as part of the protection programme  (link, info)

The traditional weekly markets in the four towns are worth a visit. Each town has its own market, each on a different day of the week.
